Vintage Haeger USA Dish in Lime Green and Grey
Haeger USA Dish
The Haeger Pottery Company started out in 1871 as the Dundee Brickyard, 45 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois. This was the same year as the great Chicago fire and the company was instrumental in providing building materials to rebuild the city. In 1900 the creator of the business, David H. Haeger died and control of the company went to David's son, Edmond. In 1912 he introduced a more artistic direction for the future and started selling creative pottery art in addition to the standard, utilitarian pieces.
